George had been asking Alina to go to the bank today. It had been a good day for business and that much money couldn't stay here. Not much because of robbers, more because the two boys could use it all at once when they should save it. George knew Aline would keep just enough for the three of them and save the rest. Fred already left to find a nice restaurant he could buy a meal for the three at and come back home. They had decided to celebrate that good a day with a finer meal than the usual.
He was in the back store when he heard the bell of the entrance door. "It's closed." he said, thinking it was a customer. As he came he froze seeing Verity. The last time he saw the girl she nearly killed Alina. He was tensed as he approached. "What do you want?" he asked sternly. "To apologize." she said. And then she started talking, saying how much she regretted it, how she had feelings for him but that it died now, knowing she had no chance since they were engaged and all. As they talked, George admitted they were not. But Verity didn't seem to make a move. George inwardly sighed of relief. He was looking at the door. If Fred was to come first, he would understand, Alina, that was another story.
As they talked, she handed him her bottle since he was thirsty. Not suspecting anything he took it while thanking her and gulped down a huge portion of it. Soon after he started the effects of the potion getting to him. Yes, for she had put that Love Potion they were selling, well not just them every joke shop and such. And obviously, she didn't make him fall in love with Alina, or a random girl around. She made him fall for her.
He felt it inside, that desire to hold her, to say he loves her and to kiss her. She didn't try to stop him one bit. In fact, she helped him get more passionate and even suggested to go to a more intimate place. George immediately brought her up to his room, not thinking about closing the store since his mind was occupied by her completely. They kissed all the way to his room and there he threw her on the bed. She looked at him with a devilish smirk, undressing herself before dragging him to her...

After stating that she would go to the bank with him, Alina had gone off to one of the other local stores, buying some things that she needed. She even visited a few muggle stores that she felt she needed things from before heading back to the store. Her arms were filled with bags so it was a bit hard to get in the door, but she managed to after a little bit. She was surprised though that she didn't have to use her key. Normally one of the twins locked up the shop after this hour, but it seems they hadn't today.
Placing the bags on the counter, Alina walked over to the front door and locked it. She was pretty sure the boys were back yet, and if they weren't, they had a key to get in. She returned to her bags at the counter and picked them up. Alina carried the bags up to the apartment, finding that also empty. Although she was quite puzzled, she didn't really think much of it. She put her things away in the various cabinets and drawers, making sure everything was in it's place. She then put other things into the bathroom before going back to her bags. All she had left now was to put her new clothes into her room.
Alina grabbed the bag of clothes, and walked to the bedroom door, opening the door. The sight before her eyes shocked her so much that she dropped the bag on the floor, her hand gripping the door handle so hard that her hand was turning just as red as her face was. "Just what do you think you're doing?!" she shouted loudly, her voice sounding oddly similar to the same tone that Molly used when she was angry at the twins.

The sound of the bags falling to the floor didn't come to George's ears. The vision of Alina, red and mad was not before his eyes. When he heard the yelling though, he froze. It sounded so much like his mother. Verity shrieked some seeing who it was, making George turn and face Alina. But still under the effect of the potion he was not caring about her anymore.
Verity realized seeing he didn't leave the bed and grinned, quite happy of her little trick. She started to snuggle against his chest while looking at her. "He's with me now.He just can't get enough of me." she said enjoying her reaction. She always thought Alina was too much of a 'little angel' to do anything and she was not thinking she could attack them. If she was to throw herself at her, George would defend Verity and she doubted she'd attack her lover.
In the same time Fred came back. "Hey guys what are you... woah!" he said as he came to the room and saw the scene. He looked at his twin, at Verity and then at Alina, not knowing what to do. As for George, speechless, he just stood next to Verity not pushing her aside which seemed weird enough.

Alina stared at the two of them, her fists clenching and unclenching. She didn't even notice when Fred came back, let alone when he spoke. She lunged herself at Verity, shoving her away from George. "You keep your filthy little hands off of him you w.hore!" she shouted at her, lunging herself at Verity again. She didn't even realize she was fighting against the girl, not even as Verity hit her back, knocking her away.
All that ran through her head was how angry she was at Verity for touching George. She didn't even know if they had done anything other than lay on the bed, but that didn't matter to her. She wanted revenge against the s.lut especailly since this wasn't the first time she had tried to do this either. "You're too much of an angel to harm me," said Verity, smirking at her. Alina growled loudly and punched Verity hard in the face, surprising both girls at the same time.

George startled as he saw the girls fighting. When Alina punched Verity though, after freezing a moment like everyone else, he grabbed Alina and threw her away from Verity, not minding she'd actually land on her back against the wall and floor. "Stop hurting her." he said, defending Verity as he went to her. He was in boxers while she was only in panties, exposing her chest to everyone. He went by her side, holding her waist.
Fred tried to reason him after helping Alina get up. But all that George had to say was: "I love Verity." Fred frowned. He seemed to realize what was gonna on, or more like feared it. The girl on the other hand had a victorious grin on her face, staring at Alina. She finally had George. In her mind, she saw him first since Alina arrived at the shop only after her. To add some to it, she kissed George who replied.

Alina was about to hit Verity again when she felt someone grabbing her, throwing her to the wall. Her back and head hit the wall such force that she didn't really even bothering getting up as she fell to the floor. Fred helped her up though, however Alina shook him off after a few moments. She turned her gaze to George and Verity as they kissed. She felt sick to her stomach now and all she wanted to do was leave.
"Fine, you can have him. I wouldn't want his worthless arse anyways." she said coldly as she left the room. She winced as she descended the stairs, the pain in her back coming full force as she walked. She left the store and headed down the street towards the Leaky Cauldron. Upon entering, she went to the counter and asked for a room, and was given the key in return. Alina went to her room and walked into it, locking the door behind her and heading for the bed, laying there on her stomach as she cried softly into the dusty old pillow.

Fred couldn't believe what George was doing. He knew the guy too much to believe he was in his real state. He left them, knowing he couldn't do much and went after Alina. He followed her to the Leaky Cauldron and managed to know what room she was in. He knocked over and over again at the door, telling her what he thought was happening to George, that thing about the love potion.
George, on the other hand, not caring about Alina or his brother's attempt to save his arse, went back to Verity. It took him two hours before the potion stopped working. It was probably due to the water that weakened its properties and the fact she didn't put that much in her bottle. Seeing Verity by his side, he startled, jumping out of the bed. he yelled, demanding an answer. She told him everything, how he chose her over Alina and even defended her. George kept shaking his head. He never had any feelings for the girl. He chased her away, yelling more and more. He couldn't find neither Alina nor Fred who was busy trying to help their friend. George decided in the end to send an owl to Alina, saying he had no idea what happened, that Verity told him he said he loved her but he couldn't believe it at all, and that she caught them in bed. He wanted to explain, he wanted to understand, he was completely lost and was begging her to come back.

Alina could hear Fred outside the door trying to explain what was going on, but she wasn't sure whether or not she should believe it. Sure it sounded like something Verity would do, but she didn't know if it was a good enough reason for her to take George back, especially after he had thrown her like he had done.
Eventually though, she gave in to Fred's shouts and knocks. She got up from the bed and walked over to the door, opening it. She threw herself into her friend's arms and stood there silently, crying softly into his chest. He guided her into the room, and sat with her silently but they were interrupted by an owl coming into the room, dropping a note at Alina's feet. She picked it up and read it, handing it to Fred. It took him a while, but he managed to convince her to go back to the store.
After paying for her room, Alina went back to the store with Fred, silently walking in and upstairs. Fred stayed downstairs, figuring they needed room. Alina went into the kitchen first and grabbed herself a cup, filling it with water. She downed it quickly, then went to the bedroom, walking in the door silently, staring at George. "You wanted me to come back, so start talking." she said emotionlessly.

George turned around quickly hearing the bedroom door opening. he was so happy she accepted to come. But her tone, not just emotionless but also the way she was spitting the words out of her mouth, it made him uncomfortable. That certainly was the reason why he didn't move from his spot.
"I don't know what happened. She came to the store, claiming she wanted to apologize. We talked, I drank some of her water and all of a sudden we were upstairs, making out. I swear I have no idea what happened. I don't even love her!" he said after some hesitation, hoping she'd believe him. He knew she was an angel, but that didn't mean she couldn't be spiteful.

Alina couldn't help herself as she laughed openly at what he said. Unfortunately, it wasn't a cheerful laugh. "You don'y know what happened huh? Really? Do you really expect me to believe that you're that stupid? George she put you under a d**n spell with that love potion!" she said loudly, not caring if Fred could hear her downstairs. She growled deeply in her throat, thinking of what to say next.
"Do you have any idea what you said to me when you were like that?! Do you have any idea what you DID?!" she asked, her voice rising to such a high level that her voice was getting a bit of a squeel to it, although she wasn't really trying. Her hands were clenched in fists again, her face burning with a red tint again. She stared at him hard, her voice now at a soft, chilling tone. "Do you have any idea what it felt like to come in here and you see you like that with the woman that tried to kill me?" she asked, staring him down hard.

George startle.d He felt himself shrink while she became huge due to her anger. He never saw her in such a state. He gulped, unable to speak as she kept yelling at him. He felt pathetic. Never he had been yelled at this way. When their mother was talking on that tone it was because she had been scared to death about them, but Alina was not scared, she was hurt.
He tried to make a step forward but stopped his move. "Alina I... I know it's a potion, but I realized only later, when I came back. It wasn't really me, all that happened, it wasn't me speaking." he said unable to find a better argument to defend himself. "I never loved her, or had feelings for her. If I had, I would've fired her so I could not be tempted." he nearly whispered. It was not like him but he never was as scared as now in front of her.

Alina stared at him, finding it hard to keep her anger. Yes, she was still mad at him, but the energy it took to keep her strong hold on her anger was beginning to wear her out. She unclenched her fists and simply looked at him before lowering her head. "It hurt so much to hear what you said, to see you in bed with her. You told me you loved her, you should know signs of even realizing who I was." she said softly, her voice barely higher than a whisper. She was still angry about the situation, but she was more hurt than anything else. Her eyes burned with tears that threatened to pour out of her eyes but she kept them in for now.
"You defended her. When I lunged myself at her, and punched her in the face, you defended her." she continued on, feeling herself growing weak. She walked over to the bed and sat down, the tears finally making their way to the surface and slowly trickling down her cheeks. "George, you hurt me badly," she whispered, looking over at him.

George frowned, truly sorry and surprised to hear what he had done. It was like in a dream, he could remember but it was vague. Like when you were drinking too much and weren't sure if it happened for real. He wanted to come to her and hug her but feared she'd hit him away from herself.
But when she sat on the bed and started crying, he couldn't hold on any longer. He sat next to her and wrapped his arms around her. He didn't care if she didn't want to. "Alina, I,m so sorry. It wasn't really me. All of a sudden I felt like I couldn't love anyone else but her. But it was just the potion." he said on a soft tone. "It's you. It's you I love." he said, admitting he loved her. She knew, for sure, well knew before if she was doubting it now, but he wasn't saying it that often. Not that way.

Alina flinched as he hugged her, squirming around as she tried to get his hands off her back. She really didn't even listen to what he was saying, at least until the last part. She looked up at him, sighing gently. "I love you too" she whispered, finally pulling out of his hold. She could feel an immense amount of pain in her back from when he had thrown her earlier.
To help her show him that she hadn't pulled away for any other reason but that, she took his hand and led him to the bathroom. Once in there, she shut the door and then pulled off her shirt, her back towards the mirror. She looked at her reflection over her shoulder, staring at the bruises on her back. There were little bruises scattered around her back, but there were also some kind of bigger ones, although they were bunched together in some spots. She winced and looked over at George, frowning lightly at him to show that he was the one that had done that.

George frowned as she brought him to the bathroom. He was wondering what she meant to do in there until she pulled off her shirt to look at her bruises. He startled some, gasping. He knew he was responsible for these. Although he never meant to do all of that, he was quite conscious. And so he knew he was responsible for those marks.
He walked closer but didn't turn her or tried to touch the bruises. He was too hurt by his own actions to do so. "Alina, honey, I never meant to bruise you like that. I know I pushed you away from her but I never expected you to be that bruised." he said.
